Ugh. I know I'm just trying to get to my 5k, but for what I put in that seems bad. I got $12 from Prolific on Friday, but haven't seen a single thing all weekend, are they usually "turned off" on weekends?

And I'm doing some of the Yeon grandstanding ones. Technically very generous but a ton of really grinding edge cases.

If I ever get up to what cb456 or Sarcasmologist are doing it would be perfect for my needs. That's my goal.

Prolific is predominantly university researchers. From personal experience, they try really hard not to work weekends. (Used to be married to one and he went to extraordinary lengths to avoid weekend work ) So it's not that surprising it's quieter. There'll be some researchers trying to make sure they get replies from groups not available Mon to Fri but on the whole, it's pretty ZZZzzville.

out of curiosity, does anyone do hits on their phones? it doesnt seem like it would be a great idea since the higer paying hits seem to always want pc or laptop. but maybe for the penny hits?

Certain batches are easy and others are completely impossible to do.
My wife works almost exclusively from her phone.

Penny stuff would be a bad idea because of increased loading times, no multitabbing, no scripting.

Userscripts are possible on a phone. There is a tampermonkey standalone browser for android that I tried out once that seemed to work fine. That was maybe a year or two ago though.

Well, @Devil_Dawg was right.
Fantastic Beasts was not awful. The narrative was a bit.....unwieldy
but it was very watchable. Not horrible in the least.
(though not fantastic, either).
