i remember those days. ya all need a good hard freeze to kill those suckers for a bit anyway. and i remember how big they were. they were chasing me the day i left that state.

Wow, I got a pretty rude and condescending message about not divulging how I set up a hit catcher. They said the forum is about sharing information. Doesn't this forum have huge sections about how to set up mTurk suite and Turkopticon? I learned about it here or on the old forum years ago. Why be rude to me about it?

Yes, the forum is about helping each other do this thing. Communicating useful information about researchers, technique, pitfalls, etc. Helping others feel better. Less alone.........Now the attitude appears to be playing your cards close to your chest. Keeping it all to yourself. The great ''entitled'' elements we now must contend with. As though anyone can conceal a batch of, say, ten thousand HITs. If you don't tell 'em, they won't know. After all, you don't want anyone else making a dime more than you. 'Cause that's your dime....Of course playing your cards close to your chest is a good way to be accused of cheating. And there are a lot of cheaters out there.

I wasn't playing anything close to my chest. I never had. This post is an insulting, knee-jerk reaction. I had no clue that not everyone knew about mTurk suite as I learned about it here. I can't believe someone would just assume that's what someone was doing just because they can't read all the threads in the forum. I'm not responsible for people not doing things on their own.

You know what else makes you look like a cheater? Having more than one account on a forum so if people block/ignore you, you can continue to insult them.

Now I remember why I stopped coming to this forum all those years ago. Sheesh.
