I love where I live. The pay here is horrendous, but the cost of living is super low. I pay $300 a month for a 1br upstairs apartment. Fully furnished + water/cable. Electric runs around $75 a month. Sounds about right. Yesterday my landlord told me he is selling the house I'm living in and that we could stay here until the new buyer takes over (and decides to either rent it out or kick us out because they want to live here) or we could move into the house next door that's still only a 2 bedroom and is only "$100 more per month". We can barely afford the rent at this place. I'm so done renting.
