Wow that is pretty messed up. I've never heard of an HoA doing that or having anything resembling that in their covenants. Most of everything we have deals with issues like exterior house colors, appearances, etc.

My sister-in-law's condo HoA is more about fees, facilities and mostly parking.

Myself, I would have initially had a response on some firms' stationary. Sadly, I have found in life that in most instances where one entity is trying to impose its will on another, threat of legal action leading into a battle of attrition seems to work when all else fails.

we pay a stupid amount of fees. own the house. just ridicilious. I dont know.

On a better note, I got a rejection revered AND a $5 bonus for that very same HIT (Frank_AMZ). That's 3 reversals from them. They use a program to check your work and it's not always correct.
