I visited the Corpus Christi area once in March, and it was already very humid. I can't imagine what summers are like.
Hot and wet. If you fly up north to visit and you go back to HOuston, when you get off the plane the humidity smacks you in the face. Then if you weren't already wringing wet from the flight you suddenly find yourself wishing for a giant ice cube and a change of clothes. Then you get hit with the biggest giant mosquito you ever say and you remember there's roaches or if you live up scale they're called water bugs, waiting to attack you when you get home.

Hey gals and gals, groupon is doing a $10 Starbucks gift card for $5.
Not everywhere? Or already gone? I just checked on the app and it says no results for Starbucks.

Didn't know people actually lived there. Thought it was just empty space.

Summers in New York are awful too. From peaceful 50s, running with a nice long sleeve on, to 80s, dying in nothing but shorts within a 5 day period.
sounds wonderful BUT i have spent a lot of time in New England during the summer over the years and the humidity in the NE is absolutely awful. You're not supposed to walk outside and immediately feel like you've just gotten a shower.
