Only for one meal - clearly you don't want to do that all the time - but I remember being at a visit to my obstetrician - and I could hear him yelling at some poor woman in another examination room, "Salad! Just Salad! All you can have is salad!" So I imagine a salad is probably okay for one lunch! But really, the nap is important too. Personally, I have to set an alarm and promise myself to get up when it goes off, no snooze button, or I go overboard on the nap.

I've been falling asleep early every night and taking a nap around 1-3 pm most days. I don't even mean to. I just lie down to rest and next thing I know, I'm waking up.

Some days are better than others. The doc said a few months ago it's probably just worse during the times she's growing faster. But I think I have blood sugar problems because I have to eat every 4 hours on average or I start feeling weak, shaky, and nauseated...and I'm drinking veritable tons of water.

The deduction isn't that big.
it's huge, it's free housing and food stamps and cash welfare at the same income levels where people without kids pay 15% income tax.

edit: also free medical, free scholarships to 4-year universities, free job finding help, easy entry to mortgages, etc. the president's tax changes will take some of the burden off us though.
