Just do a chart of all the sales tax being lost by all the wait time and people leaving disgusted without purchasing what they came for. Then remind gov that that's money lost because she wouldn't allow people in to buy things.

our state does not work that way. we are bass ackwards here. We have gross receipts, not a sales tax. we have to pay it on goods and services. i have to pay it on my income as turk is a service income. Food like in a grocery store is exempt from gross receipts while restaurant/qsr food is taxed.

if people walk away from waiting in a grocery store line, there is no tax lost on those purchases for food, only tax lost if those people were also to buy cosmetics, toilet paper or other paper goods, shampoo, cleaning goods. office supplies that are not food so they get taxed.

Wow, that's awesome! My mom passed away late last year and I just brought home about 20 of her records from the 60s/70s. I still remember her playing the Rudolph one and Bing Crosby at Christmas.
That is a lot of vinyl you have!

been collecting since I was 14, opened record store when I was 30, ran it 'til my injuries on FD...still write record price guides. Nothig like playing the vinyl!

I forgot!!! And I owned a record store for 20 years....ouch. Still have my vinyl much to my gf's chagrin. It's in a climate controlled storage unit. She let me keep a few hundred at home
When people ask how many I own, I tell them about 8,000. Sometimes I add that the last time I counted was 2003. I should prob. mention my storage unit is 10 by 40....
