not sure what to tell you then, there are some exercises that can help a little, but just temp shit. Look for a pain specialist doctor, they can do some tests to verify where the nerves are pinched. (it could also be a pinched nerve in your neck causing this to happen)it just started yesterday but it was so bad I couldn't grasp anything and my upper arm was hot to the touch (which I didn't even know was something that could happen), but I don't have a PCP so my only option is to go to an urgent care. The closest urgent care that takes my insurance is over an hour away though

I hadn't thought about using my non dominant hand, I'll give that a try. I'm making some calls now to try to find someone who will see me.
if you are sure it's carpal tunnel - are there things you can do differently? For instance, how about a touch screen? Can you mouse with your non dominant hand? It might not be comfortable, but if this is how you earn your living - it might be important to explore that. Also, wrist supports.
I'd explore my environment to see what is possible to change - while working (without using that hurt arm! It needs rest!)
