i've just given up the last 2 days and went roaming around town, watched some videos and taken down a couple buffets....spent twice as much as I've made this week....

I was totally shocked, never had anyone act like that. I looked it up and that is why I contacted the ACLU, I already apologized.She spoke to me like I was 2, her tone was just so snooty. I don't feel I owe an apology more than she does. And I don't feel I'm a permanent threat to anyone. I don't go around town blurting obscenities usually,lol.

I'm sure not the popular opinion around here but you could have handled that better and are dealing with consequences as a result. Keep calm and tell her that her thoughts on the matter are not welcome as she doesn't understand the situation. Her being bitchy shouldn't justify abusive treatment of her. Deal with it and express your grievances to her supervisor.

The first part of every month is worse than the rest of the month for me. I have to listen to all the reasons people can't pay rent on time and them beg me to not charge late fees. Then get angry at me when I can't waive them . It's a lovely time at work through the 5th (ish, later if that lands on a weekend or holiday).

Oh, and we had a craigslist scammer steal part of our company information so we started getting calls for a place we don't manage, and concerned/suspicious people when we explained it was a scammer, not us, who posted the information. It takes a LOT to get Craigslist to remove a scammer post believe it or not.

I'm obviously really sleepy and typed those whilst still in ugh mode. The rest of the survey was mildly annoying but fast.

I think it's hilarious when a survey studying "race relations" gives me a picture of a guy of ethnicity X and a picture of a guy of ethnicity Y, and the X guy looks like a doofus and the Y guy looks like a pro. Then I'm supposed to pick which one I trust, or think is competent, or whatever. This isn't science - it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. But hey, I'll play into your imagined social problems if it earns me a dollar. :thumbup:
