Woke up to see the bridge down. Shocking. Very, very sad.

Also, I need to buy one of those window breakers in an emergency thing-y's. Not that I expect such a thing. But it's good to be prepared :(

We had them on the fire department. In 29 years I never had to use it to cut someone out of a car. Over 10K car crashes that I've gone to.
were they all land rescues? i imagine seatbelt cutters would be more useful in river/lake rescues when you have to rush to get out of a flooding and sinking vehicle.

I searched around and read something like that - from other professionals. And couldn't find any evidence that anyone had used that - or the window smasher thing to save themselves.

So, I had it in my amazon cart (and then deleted it).
