I won't buy nike anymore since I found this happens.
I'm in a lost place. I love New Balance but I've seen tons of bad reviews since they moved shoe making operations overseas and don't seem to make them in the USA anymore.

I was thinking of trying Nike for my next pair, but the Duke event and the fact I've seen some easily torn jerseys in the NBA makes me wonder about Nike's care for quality control. It'd stink to buy some shoes and have them separate after a few weeks of wearing them.

I might have to try Puma for my next shoes. I loved how they tweeted the blowout/injury would not have happened if Zion was wearing Pumas.

I love tomatoes. I remember growing up and eating them right out of the garden.
I miss having a garden.
I garden at my dad's house. I grow tomatoes for him and grow green chile peppers for me and him. It's cool to have several home grown ones instead of relying entirely on Hatch to supply them.

Do any of you guys have an issue with your kids stealing food?
Isn't "kid" a synonym for "criminal"? If they are like me, I could have gotten caught with my hand in the actual cookie jar as a kid.

My issue isn't them eating stuff other than my son likes to eat peoples leftovers...like he'll take a bite out of your jersey mikes when it's in the fridge.

Our daughter steals food and takes it to her room which isn't ok here...then she won't throw the trash away which is why it isn't ok...finding soda cans, candy wrappers and opened hot chocolate packages in her room pisses me off cause it causes bugs.

I'll add these kids are 16 and 15, I thought they were supposed to be past this?

My kids used to do this when we had that type of food in the house (junk food and soda). I quit buying it. When I started buying more vegetables and stuff that had to be cooked, they stopped taking it into their bedrooms. However, my oldest son (who is now 20 and moved out on his own), when still in high school, told his friends that we were starving him...lol. I was so mad at him at the time because I was trying so hard to make them eat healthy and all they did was complain about it, but we've been eating that way for several years and no one complains anymore.

Oh- and when we do eat out or bad stuff, we never bring it home....

We did this at one point...our daughter basically went weeks without eating anywhere but school, yes she is picky and that stubborn. Our son will eat anything so it wasn't an issue for him most of the time...Then it turned into dinner becoming this production because after he watches her refuse to eat he wants to be difficult too...so much so they were telling people we were starving them and then they would tell us we were depriving our children and making them malnurished.

It was ridiculous how many people think you should just feed your kids whatever they want cause kids.
