Our district always goes until the middle of June. My daughter is supposed to leave on the 15th for a vacation in Nashville, TN with the grandparents so I have fingers crossed she will be out by then. If not then she will be missing the last couple of bullshit days of school. The kids are mentally tuned out after Memorial Day, anyway.

My birthday is June 10, which has ALL MY LIFE been right around the end of the school year. I can't remember if they started earlier this year though. I don't think so.

I'm June 26 so I never had a school day birthday. My parents probably would have sent 2 things of fig newtons so, it all worked out better this way I think.
