I'm waiting for the Vonnegut documentary where it turns out he did something creepy to a woman. But he's old, so maybe it was that he, idk, touched a woman's ankles when she didn't like it. To be fair though, that would be creepy even now.

If I removed every dirty old man from my bookshelf, I'd have an awfully empty bookshelf. KVJ was a complicated dude, I wouldn't be surprised if he did some skirt chasing but idk, more suicidal/drunk than sexual predator I think. I hope anyhow.

Edit: Also he dead. He real dead. I got to tell the director of English at my college that he was dead in front of the whole class and the friggen guy had to stop class for a bit. A few years later he hired me as an adjunct and he remembered that I was the one who broke his heart in front of a shit ton of students.

Is he seriously not assigned reading in high schools any more?

I don't think so. When I was teaching ENG 101/105/10-whocares I used to assign Slaughterhouse 5 as a semester long extra credit project just to get them reading it.

I hit almost 30 and I was gone for HOUUUUUURS. We did about 700 loads of laundry and I babysat for a while. Today has been the longest day.
