Since there's basically no work here's something that's making me giggle: since starting preschool kiddo has been getting a major KY accent. my is 'mah', right is almost 'rat', your is 'yer'. It cracks me up

I moved to Covington about six years ago (grew up in NY and lived outside Dayton OH for many years) I know exactly what you mean...The stuff you see down here, the accents you hear..

I try really hard not to let my accent come out, but it does when I'm excited or mad lol. I think he's picking it up more from school than from me though (hopefully...)

when I moved from Tennessee to Indiana I spent months working on getting rid of my accent. Now it only comes out when I am mad.
