I think this product needs to be renamed, it should be more like:
TIN FOIL HAT TO TORMENT YOUR CAT WITH !!!
I know if I ever put one of these things on one of my cats, they would hate me for life.
Yeah, our dogs have sweaters and jackets and stuff, but they actually like them. They'll bring them to us so we can put them on them. I think our cats secretly hate us and are constantly planning our deaths. They just tolerate us because we feed them and clean out the litter box.

We're car twins!!!! (Love mine btw, best car I've ever owned)
yay! That's good to hear! Can I ask a random question, how's the insurance? The quotes I was getting seemed awfully high, but I didn't really look very hard.

DON"T!

I hope this goes smoother than me getting my bank account verified when I set up Amazon Payments last January. It took me a week or two then because the automated bank verification thing of AP wasn't working with my bank for whatever reason. I am going to be setting up this new direct transfer on Dec 16th or so just in case there are problems rather than waiting until the last possible moment like you.
You’ve got a good point there.

For me, it's about $370 every six months, but my driving record is not pristine and that is for full coverage insurance. It'd probably be cheaper if we just went with liability, but I'm always afraid that the moment I drop it down, something will happen to me.

Edit- That's through State Farm though and they are a little pricey, but my husband has them for all of our insurance needs, and they've always been really good with him.

It takes 90 minutes because every section is timed, however, it is interesting.

I tried to put a collar on my cat once, he's a tuxedo cat with a big white nose and a blacked-out face and all he did was sit in the corner with that big old White nose pointing at me and you could see him just thinking " Once again human, you have proven to be a disappointment ".

okay, the quotes I was getting were probably just ridiculous then, because they were saying like $200 a MONTH or I just read it wrong

Pretty sure that would result in mTruk becoming a South Asian/[insert other area with minimal to no labor laws here] place only. We don't have the leverage for that to go anywhere. Doesn't make it an unsatisfying word to read, though.
I'm predicting California user accounts will be suspended from the turk system when the gig minimum wage thing goes into effect -- assuming the law is even legal for online things. I imagine it's easier for turk to suspend them from the system than have to figure out a way to make HITs pay the equivalent of minimum wage.

I doubt Amazon will change their minds, but everyone that has issues with the upcoming changes should send an email to the one provided (
mturk-worker-support@amazon.com )

When the weekly emails with our activity were removed they at least made a massive overhaul to the dashboard; I dunno if that was the plan from the get go or if the feedback impacted that change, but either way maybe they can compromise a bit, like offering a 3-day withdrawal.

Some years ago a lot of us had to verify amazon payments by faxing our ID. Hope we don't have to go through that again, it was a pain.

This sounds entirely possible. Thank FSM I've never lived in California - might be something for people who are from there to be aware of/plan for. :/ (ugh, sorry, Yatagarasu @Yatagarasu)
