Question of the day: What was your first mturk hit?
Mine was a 50 cent music survey.

At that time I had been doing clixsense all day time on my days off from my grocery store job, and I switch to MTURK to GET AWAY from surveys. So after I did it I was like fuck it is that all this site has to offer new users?

and I didn't log back in for like a month. lol

Question of the day: What was your first mturk hit?

It was 15 days ago. Don't remember the specific hit, but it was probably one of those go to a website, look for the contact email address. Did a ****load of those early on, guess I'm lucky they were approved and it didn't kill my AMT work with tons of noob rejections.

EDIT: Figured out the dashboard shows your HITS in chronological order. It was not a contact email hit, that was the second day. My first HIT on my first day was a "what is the price of this product?" hit where you just surf to the URL given and report what the price is of that item.

Follow up: What's everyone's first rejection?
mine was part of that massive rejection back in 2014, I can't remember the name though, but EVERYONE seemed to get it.

dashboard tells me it was a "collect data about a website". Says I didn't follow the instructions so I guess it might have been a noob mistake on my day 3.

I've used the word 'apparently' too much today.

Question of the day: What was your first mturk hit?
It was some random survey. It had a coin toss thing and I had to report whether it was heads or tails each time, and the whole purpose of the study was to see if I would lie about it or not. When I got to the end, I wrote in the "Do you have any comments?" box about how I thought the whole premise of their study was flawed and that they weren't going to get any useful information from it. I seriously went on with this explanation for like 10 minutes about why I thought it was all bullshit. It was a 25c survey. Oh, how young and naive I was in those days.
