I have oil and a wood stove for back up (I'd like a bigger one, actually, since wood is cheaper than oil). But you kind of adjust. I keep the house at about 55 degrees and it seems okay. Next year I'll buy more wood (and earlier) so that we can use the stove more often.

I don't have any idea what the temp is in here, but I work most of the day with a heavy sweater, jacket, and hat on.
I think I need to PM you a question; prob will do in the next 10 or so minutes.
