you can get a permit to cut down a tree in the vermont state forests (I think it's just 5 dollars). But we generally just use a norfolk pine that I've been growing for quite some time.

Having a major surgery on the 15th, so glad I snagged a BOC during Cyber Week. Surgery date almost got derailed bc I didn't intially pass my EKG during my pre-op exam as it showed a possible un-noticed heart attack, so had to go see a cardiologist. The cardiologist said there was no heart attack, but I did have a previously un-diagnosed congenital heart defect called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. Basically, an extra electrical pathway in the heart causes a rapid heartbeat and it looks a lot like a heart attack on an EKG. Was not too suprised with the diagnosis as it had showed up when I've looked up what causes a high heart rate to Dr. Google. Surgery can still happen on the 15th as the condition, but will need to seeing a cardiologist (if nothing else but to get a workup done every so often) after I recover a bit from the surgery.
