Hmm ... is an inta-pot worth the purchase? Someone told me it's great for making yogurt. my yogurt maker is working fine. but i can only do one thing with it.

I use it for rice and beans. Totally worth it for that. I had a rice cooker, but they all have coating on it that scares me (I know, I know, as long as it doesn't flake off - whatever - I feel safer with steel .

Anyway, rice cooks so quickly - and so do beans. I still use my crockpots, but the instapot is awesome for speed

Thanks. I like my cast iron skillets that I coat. But they are so heavy. So, have some coated stuff. Scrubbing is not my best moment. when I see the scratches I do get concerned. I had a friend who wouldn't do without her pressure cooker, the old fashioned kind that might blow up. been kind of leary of pressure cooking since. but it this cooks faster and provides healthier meals then am thinking of getting one. like beans and lentils, I don't mess with them because not really sure how to cook them. but this would most likely make that easier.

69 yesterday so i started deweeding and digging planting holes outside and started tomato and green chile seeds inside. they'll go outside in late april or may into the holes i'm digging and running a drip line to.
