left early this morning to go the wilderness center. it's down in deep amish county like south of me. went with a friend. less than 2 inches of snow on ground. it was around 47 degrees yesterday, 20 this morning and going to be 50 tomorrow. we went through applecreek area and finally had to turn back. highway was a sheet of ice. one van was in a field where it was obvious it spun off the road. fortunately it landed feet/tires first and not on it's roof. there was a person inside it and patrol and ER there. i hope they are okay. as my friend said ODOT left the highways only fit for a horse and buggy.

We haven't had that much snow, really. And I don't think it has dipped below 0 at all (usually it does). But tonight, I'm off to knit by the fire
