Hey, I'll take an okay psyche over money any day. I'm really glad to hear that. I hope that perpetuates and gets even better. Plus, a better psyche will equal more money in the long run, I think.

I'm actually on my way back up from a pretty deep and prolonged low. Just trying to keep the momentum and remember to be kind to/patient with myself. Here's to a (hopefully) good week to the two of us!

There's a pretty good body of science supporting the notion that if a person can find a way to be happy before getting all the stuff we think will make us happy, it's actually easier to get all that stuff that we think will make us happy. We too often put the cart [getting/obtaining/achieving/etc.] before the horse [happiness].

But I know what you mean about preferring the healthy psyche.

And why do I get the notion that Turkers, as a group, are particularly depressed?

I'm depressed because this and usertesting is the only thing above minimum wage I have been able to work at consistently without getting fired.
