went to the cancer soc rummage sale yesterday. found a fossil med size bag - $25/non-neg. bought it. when cleaning it after we got home, found $15 and change in it. not too bad.

Yesterday I came home with a huge bag of wool wheels. I've never made a rug before, but it looks easy . It's a LOT bigger than the pic (bag was nearly as tall as I am). 18.00 (I think a good price?)

cool. have fun! i did see a knitting loom there. don't know its condition. got a stone mountain bag also. those appear to be difficult to find even in stores. just put it with some things that i gave an offer on. no surprises in it. people were walking out with bags full of items. they don't seem to have the kind of craft items i'm looking for. always older stuff. am still amazed at the find i got last year in a thrift where i found several hundred $$ worth of good and some of it new, craft items for less than $50.

well, just made the pudding for homemade ice cream. but i made it with fresh cream, bought from the cow, not the grocery. it's thick and butter yellow. i said we'll either end up with ice cream or sweet, sweet butter and I'll have to bake some things to go with it.
