In the kitchen, its easier to get any gunk off the floor, no pushing on or trying to scrub with the mop. Youre closer to the floor if you're down on hands and knees so you'll also see stuff you'd miss with the mop. And last but not least, its easier to get under/around things. (like the toilet and behind it in the bathrooms!)

I use a refillable spray mop (O-Cedar is the brand in the US) with washable microfiber pads. Solution is water, vinegar, and alcohol. Sprays down, wipes up easy, and any excess evaporates thanks to the alcohol. Any stubborn messes I hit with my Shark steam mop (which was a hand me down from someone who never used it, score!).

I do vinegar and water but never thought about adding alcohol. Look at me! Getting cleaning tips!

I spot clean certain areas then go over the whole house with the Shark steam mop. That thing is wonderful.

I keep a spray bottle loaded with floor cleaner and spray the spot and then use my foot.

I think I know what you're saying, but I'm not sure that answered my question. I'm blocking bad requesters already with MTS and that is working swimmingly. But if there is a macro or script that can hunt for good HITs before I wake up that would be a dream.

Like a catch and hoard thing?I thought a script like that awhile back, before the mturk update.

I didn't change it for years. Once I did my life completely changed. And it was so easy, I felt ridiculous for putting it off.


....Now I am on a new computer, had to reinstall PC, and have been listening to the warnings of never taking presents from strangers for 6 months now. I think I'll join you in that quest today.
