At least the platform has not gone to paying in their own currency that can only be used to buy goods and services through them. Kind of like back in the day with mining companies using a "company" coin to pay with. So I can accept getting paid my $4.21 average weekly earnings on a schedule, it should not cut down on my pipe tobacco supply that much.

Does anyone have any idea why mTurk won’t load on my laptop? I’ve only ever accessed it on my partner’s desktop. I get to the login page and click “sign in as worker” and then it looks like it’s loading but the page never changes. Eventually it’s a white screen and it says “amazon took too long to respond.” I’m using Chrome. Everything else works fine. It’s not that old of a laptop. Have no idea how to even trouble shoot this.

This happened to me last week and I went in a cleared out all the cookies on it and it worked fine

First try a hard reboot maybe, clear cache and reset your network if needed, and it might just be an external issue that will clear soon.
