are there any prolific users here? I am wondering how many surveys pop up there a day. I get an email about once a day for one survey

Depends on your demographic and what they are looking for. Had a lot of surveys and made 10 bucks off of it today.

I usually miss the email Prolifics I get, but I tend to get about one every two or three hours just by checking the open dashboard. Of course that's often once per day, and three or four of them all at once.

Between 0 and , maybe, 20 "pop-up". You'll never know because you only see the HITs for which you prequalify, based on demographics in your profile. I think the most I've done is 16 in a day but, I was there for a long time, on the page without interacting with it. And I think I missed 4 or 5. But, you also won't see what posts while you're completing another HIT. So, it's really hard to gauge and inconsistent because, there's no schedule and, you don't have all the info you need to get a sum of the amount posted. You maybe could email Prolific and ask what an average amount of posts is for a day but, how that would relate to what you qualify for will vary. Sorry this doesn't help. Some days I make 20-40GBP(not often). Some days I make 5, and some I make nothing. But, never on for a full 24 hours either.

EDIT I rarely get emails about studies from them, unless they're follow-ups.

Funny thing is, not me but, some people love doing work like this. That said, even porn AI needs to be trained on the dirty words, for full neural linguistic programming. They can't buy that audio data from the usual suspects, as it's probably not out there in a useable form.

Still funny though. Probably the funniest Qual I've ever seen. For anyone new who missed it, at least do your "Adult Qualification" so that you can have the option of doing "adult" HITs.

You have to check the dashboard, the emails are just what they are having trouble filling (I'm assuming). There's a chrome extension called Prolific Assistant that will check for you every X seconds... https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...ant/ocfncbnofopjedoepmekajbgdenadepp?hl=en-US

It works pretty well but if it says ERR on it you need to sign in to prolific, change the check interval for a second and change it back and it'll work again.
