Checked the forum on my phone to see if anything was up and saw themildone @themildone say there were a bunch of $2 surveys. Now I've got a full queue before I even got "dressed"! Thanks, to the Real Jaded™

Also, goodmorning!

Made 6.25 in the past hour to start the day but seems to have hit a lull for me.

Hopefully Prolific will have some surveys pop up again today. They have been saving my ass the last several weeks.
yeah nothing good has popped up since the $10 hit I had to return :angry2: and nothing has posted on prolific in the past couple days :(

I made about $5 on Prolific yesterday. Sunday was awesome over there. I snagged 4 quick surveys for $11.20 that took all of 15 minutes total to complete.

G'morning,
ISO a way to help science in its most important research and hopefully earn up to $2/hr
Jinsoo An 15MIN SURVEY ON ANIMATION
$0.50
I saw that survey and shook my head.

$2/hr x 8 hours = $16

By 1860 many states had mandates that slaves be compensated $1 per day.

$1 in 1860 would be worth over $30 today.

So this survey requester thinks that it is okay to literally pay turkers HALF SLAVE wages.

Hey, at least the hit was generative of some historical insight on your part. :D You could send this info to the requester, Scrooge McWageSlave

I did. What I posted here was a partial version of what I sent to requester. This is the full text of what I sent to him (and other requesters I see who post ridiculously low wage hits):

Fun with math.

By 1860 many states had a law mandating that slaves be paid $1 per day. $1 in 1860 would be worth a little over $30 in 2018.

Many employees today are held to part time by employers to avoid having to pay benefits. So someone being paid $10 per hour working 29 hours a week earns $290 before taxes. After taxes that works out to around $215

Slaves worked 7 day weeks and would earn the equivalent of $210. There were no income or other taxes in 1860.

Today's workers: $215
Slaves: $210

The majority of people today literally earn slave wages.
