i put $6k down on a 0% interest, 5 year loan in 2014 and have been paying extra on my ~$315 payment so i will be done before 4 years. about $6.5k left on my loan.

Nothing, I only buy cars that are preowned and pay cash after tax time. I have to admit my current vehicle was a Christmas gift from the in-laws last year cause the hubby is disabled (needs a heart) but it was pre-owned as well, but really nice with low miles. We look for a vehicle that had a single owner, preferably a little old lady who drove a 4 block radius over her 5-6 years of ownership and kept up with the maintenance, super low miles. Truth is, they pass away and family sends the stuff to the estate sale and a good bargain is to be had.
