I was one of these kids lol My mom said I was super hyper on Benadryl. Now it knocks me on my ass. Its the same ingredient as sleeping pills so why it makes kids crazy I'll never know lol

Because it's a drug that in large doses can cause psychosis. Giving it to a child is usually okay but some of them experience the side-effects that are listed. Like you can't tell me if you're 4 years old hallucinating you're not gonna run around in a super crazy hyper-intense stage while adults just look at you like you're on crack and it's okay because you're 4.
