Well, the bonus 400 dollars I got while trying to transfer a hundred to my bank was a nice surprise. I will try to keep it in the bank in case they want the money back, but now I am 400 dollars negative in my payments account and unable to transfer any of the money I have earned. I will try to keep the money there but if I have to use it to buy food or keep a roof over my head, I guess I don't have much of a choice. I really hope they get this situation sorted out soon. ?

Amazon sent an email out yesterday explicitly stating that they would not reverse the extra transfers to your bank account, so all that money in the bank is yours now. If you didn't get the email then others posted it on the forum earlier today and last night.

The only unknown is whether or not the Amazon Payments balance will simply remain negative, or if Amazon will be awesome and reset all negative balances to zero (I kind think this is unlikely though).

So don't stress about using that extra money in the bank if you need to.

Thank you, I have emailed them twice about fixing the situation and no reply to either. I did receive the email but it seemed too good be true and makes us feel nervous about using it. Your post definitely comforts me though. I will use it if I have to.
