F cancer, I have a sister that is at the end of her journey, and her husband is almost as sick. Seriously how many married couples are terminally ill at the same time?

thats awful. my brothers cancer is so random, i dont even know if hes terminal or not. we thought he was terminal in 2016, but he got better with chemo. bad thing is, he hasn't been able to stay off chemo for more than 6 months

My mom is 86 and all her friends are dead and actually several couples died within days/weeks of each other. It's weird.

i think it might be a mental thing. your brain will help your body fight disease if it has something to fight for. Once someone as importnat as a spouse dies, many people might just feel hopeless.

i think it might be a mental thing. your brain will help your body fight disease if it has something to fight for. Once someone as importnat as a spouse dies, many people might just feel hopeless.
