Ikr. Makes me wish that places that can grow things all year long weren't so darn hot. I'd move. It would be a lot easier for me to make the decision to be a vegetarian if I lived in a place where fresh produce was always available. I hate truck-ripened tomatoes, for instance.

Otoh, you could live in a climate where in August the only edible thing that grows without complaint is okra.

I love 'em though. Artichokes are one of my favourites.
