my list:
cucumbers, zucchini, broccoli, chicken, baggies, yogurt.
We're about to drive 7 hours with the kids on saturday to NC for vacation so I'm thinking.. berries, cooked sliced chicken (over broc slaw salad for the adults), PBJs, oatmeal-banana-raisin cookies, hardboiled eggs, cheese snacks, various puffs and crackers...

3 bags of chips/various
1 case of water
2 boxes sausage egg n cheese breakfast sandwiches
1 pack of socks any color
1 pack bacon
3 cases of soda/various
1 gallon tub of Neapolitan ice cream
2 boxes ice cream cones
3 lb of 85% lean hamburger
2 packs of hamburger buns
1 jar pickles
2 bags of candy/various
1 dozen eggs
1 gallon milk whole

and don't forget your quarter for the buggy...

Yeah we have draconian liquor laws... only recently grocery stores have been allowed to sell alcohol (you have to pay at a separate register), but it's very expensive (can be up to 200k I think?)

In Michigan alcohol is sold everywhere, including Dollar General.

Hell, being drunk is practically a requirement to live here.

You can sample wines in the store at HEB.
