My mother was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic something or other when I was about twelve years old. There's nothing like getting off the school bus and finding your mom taking down all the light fixtures in the house because she's sure that she is being monitored. It's even worse when you realize that she thinks you are part of the plan.

I'm sorry to hear that @Tuesday, I was mostly joking with that comment, although depression does run in my family.

I know you were. None of us have any idea what others are going through or have been through. My mother has been dead for a lot of years, but my childhood was real weird. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. My frame of reference is way different than anyone else's and I appreciate that.
