I don't understand why I haven't got mine yet. I made under $10k so I thought I would be one of the first to get my direct deposit, but nope.

If you are a SSA/RRB Form 1099 recipient, SSI or VA benefit recipient it would not show up there most likely, they are still working that out and through those agencies. If you have not filed a tax return in a few years it could and if you did and they have your correct information a paper check will go out but in waves.

yeah that schedule makes no sense. i know a bunch of people who got it april 15th and our salaries were hugely varying.

This schedule is for actual paper checks, not direct deposit

I just checked it on the IRS site (I tried when it was first released and it didn't work). It says I'l be getting a check on the 24th. I don't understand why, because on H&R Block's site it says if you had their emerald card it would be direct deposited. Who knows.

I put my checking account info in the IRS site last week so I could get a direct deposit, but now the site is telling me they're mailing me a paper check on the 24th as well. Apparently they're confused by their own system.
