Do the dark screens help with eyestrain or do you just prefer them?
Some people swear by it but when I read things on dark theme too long my eyes go all wonky and the words get stuck on my eyes. (Like if you look at a bright light how you can still see the light bulb when you blink)

I'm surprised with all that trouble you guys didn't just nix Delta Dawn since Quark is similar anyway.
Delta Dark was one of the original 3 themes that we started the forum with, and it was our only dark theme so we kinda had to get it to work if we didn't want to waste the money that we spent on it. We didn't add Quark and Antiquark until later, and up until recently those were both donation perks. A lot of people seem to prefer it though, I guess.

Idk about eyestrain I just prefer it. Im up usually late at night and my bedroom lights are off with a little backlight behind my monitor. I use addons, mods, software, settings, whatever to make all pages and programs I visit/use dark. Yes I do hiss when I go outside and the sun touches my skin.

I think much of it depends on the room you're in. I like to use blackout curtains in here, so it's always sorta dark in this room. That makes white screens appear super bright and they hurt my eyes. But if I'm in a room with more light, like with sunlight coming in and stuff, I tend to prefer lighter themes.
