I've been getting into skyrim modding lately, so I joined different chats to get some technical support, share ideas, etc.

Nah, I enjoy Reddit.

It depends on the subreddit.

It's just a community creation tool, rather than an actual community.

Like, if you enjoy Rick and Morty, I started a subreddit called /r/interdimensionalcable It's a lot of fun!

It's why I don't trash Tumblr even though Tumblr has a lot of bad apples. It's just a community creation tool, you can't sell the whole site short because of a couple otherkins.

Got into a heated debate with someone (I don't know why it needed to be heated, or even a debate) about the size of europe vs the size of america (I was saying the US had more land mass than the EU)

To which he replied 'Wow, you are weapons grade stupid' and a slew of other insults.

And then I just showed him the figures. He was wrong, and then he still kept calling me stupid.

I don't know why people get so heated about things that are so inconsequential.
