Did you do the usual and click at the top in the URL bar to allow permissions/access to your microphone? The tab should have a big red circle in it if so.

The tab DOES have a red circle in it. That's part of the reason I'm confused. I allowed permission to my microphone, etc.

Have you tried turning off your other scripts to see if something might be interfering? Kind of a long shot but you never know.

I'm able to do Vocaroo.

Maybe a script or something. It'd be hard to figure out without being there and trying all the things, but if other websites work, then maybe it's mTurk related.
