I tried to work the HIT in which you call a number, the one dealing with elderly care. I was accepted, called the number, and I answered a few questions. When he asked how long I've been taking care of my mom, I said around 10 years, but she just passed away four days ago. In fact, we buried her yesterday. He told me that I wasn't qualified for the HIT. There is no question that he could have asked, that I wouldn't have been able to answer. I could really have used that $10.00, especially since I don't even know where I'll be a month from now.

From AARP withdrawing $45.00 and making her account in the negative and refusing to reverse the charges, in spite of me telling them I would mail her last payment, (we had to remove her money to pay her bills and help pay for the funeral, before they froze her account) to Entergy (our electric compnay) doing the exact same thing, and now this? I feel so gd angry and hurt right now.

My son is 6.5 and he has a "girlfriend". He informed me today that they're going to the lego movie 2 this weekend. I texted her mom and we set it up. So my first grader is going on a date this Sunday. The cuteness is killing me and I had to share.

I've never had a $200 day. I think I might have had a $100 day sometime in 2017.

I have 101,089 approved hits (and only 1 rejection, thanks Angela Listy! :throwrock:)

I've been turking for about 3.5 years now. But... I did actually sign up and worked HITs back when mturk first started... and there was no pay! lol and then a bit later I think the HITS each paid a fraction of a cent?! lol I loved doing the Steve Fossett plane search hits, 11 years ago now? It felt good to feel like I was actually helping and I enjoyed the challenge of proving my superior finding-things skills! lol

So yeah, been here a million years technically, had enough submitted hits and have a great approval rate, but no $200 days for me...and
...

I hope things go well and that he isn't writing country songs by the age of 7. :guitar2:

That is infuriating not only for the wasted time for the call but the rawness of emotion that was brought out for the call =( So very sorry for your loss and sending comfort and hugs to you are your family.

Sorry for your loss, and everything you have to go through now. That makes dealing with everything that much harder. I took care of my husband for 10 years before he passed, I know what that is like. I can relate to not even knowing where you will be a month from now, you were probably so involved in her care that you didn't have time to plan for what's next. I am so sorry you are going through this, but it will get better. Just take it one day at a time, and keep moving forward.

these dog groomer hits aren't too bad since 80% of them don't list prices
