I think the politics of this has been..........complicated.

A lot of people don't like change to begin with (people are still using HIT Scraper and that is vulnerable to XSS attacks) and then when that change has anything to do with their livelihoods they get extra apprehensive which is understandable. I think this leads to things getting a little more heated.

I think this comes up a couple of times a day if you didn't catch it you can add a watcher for it, pretty sure it will come back.

I want you to know I say this because it's true so often it's not even worth thinking about the exceptions.

You are stronger than you think. That doesn't mean you could be zapped back to the Donner Party and be fine, but you someday will surprise yourself with how strong you are.

Almost everyone I know who says what you said has done that at one time or another.

Well I got 12 (out of 25 HITs done today) rejections from Noah Turk. Which I deserved, I'm not complaining. I read some directions wrong. Be careful with those medieval perspective HITs.

aww thanks. i went from 11 to 23 rejections today. feels bad man. but i mean, not that bad. i'm still at 99.7%

i messaged noah and asked him not to block me if he was going to. i really like those HITs and i know what i did wrong.

also got some good news today, i passed the tests for my appen/raterlabs/yukon project job offer. so I will have from 15-26 hours per week @ $11/hr doing search engine evaluation for them. steady work is good even if $11 isn't too great

between that and my regular job i can probably afford to live a little longer.

I only get little tidbits of what's being said but if I had to take a wild stab in the dark I'd guess there's a whole bunch of people that for real want a group of people to devote their lives 24/7 for free to help them turk, there are trolls just trolling for trolling's sake, and there are some people who don't want anything to change ever, and there are a few good and skilled people trying to do something about it even though they have to deal with the trolls and the nonsense...am I close?

I have not read all the posts for today so I do not know if this has been mentioned and I am equally uncertain if what I am about to convey is permissible. The hit about what is vegetarian and what is not vegetarian by Rishad H. is not designed to test your knowledge. Some cheeses are not vegetarian so I answered accordingly. My hit was rejected. In summation, the hit is not to test your knowledge; if you get one wrong it is rejected. Just fyi. I have let him know I protest much and and am awaiting a reply. I believe if a requester wants us to Google everything in order to get nothing wrong they should tell us seeing as the default -- to me -- is that they want to know what we know not what Google knows.
