You forgot the lamentations of their women.
I don't know if 2018 is the right time for that kind of thing. Conan the Barbarian would get blacklisted for sure.

Anyone done any of the Hotel HUGC hits? I like them, but don't want to do too many because I haven't dealt with them before.

thats 1 option, but if shes just learning to fight, something tells me the bully will have more practice. A big group of friends might scare the bully off before anything even happens
Speaking as an introverted person who was bullied at school, a big group of friends was never going to happen. Ever. Not even to scare off a bully.

I probably should do some math and see how many rejects I could take before I cry and then do one less, then. Thx.

well I tried the "learn how to fight" thing... problem was I went to the ghettoest school in south florida and every other kid had been well versed in ass kicking long before I tried... so they were many levels ahead...

only other thing i can think of other than the friends thing is telling a teacher and hanging out with them (or another adult at the school) on lunch breaks

Yeah, this isn't the greatest of schools, probably why she's having so much trouble with the bullies. I've told her to learn how to defend herself as best she can, but to stay near an adult during lunch and whatnot. Kill 'em with kindness and try and not engage with her, that kinda stuff.

(I also said that she shouldn't start fights, but if the girl tries to hit her to lay that bitch out and finish it right up, but that's probably not the advice I'm supposed to give. )

I'd say do that for anything, never risking going under 98% but that's just me.

I wish I could give advice that would be helpful, but I was being verbally bullied and I coped by mentally withdrawing and recognizing that a bullying insult sounds really stupid without the hurt and emotion associated with it. After a few incidents of no reaction, they got bored and stopped. Unfortunately a useful skill I had to put into practice at a company I worked for as an adult too. Though with that it was a case of document everything and complain to HR, finally got something done. But it's easier to ignore someone in your class than it is to ignore your boss.

My sister has a bully at school. The girl followed her home and then knocked on the door like "hey, does Monster live here?" Like it was totally normal for her to be there, lol. That is so weird and slightly scary.
I've been thinking about stuff like that a lot lately since we have our first kid on the way. I decided that I'm never going to call a parent or teacher over some bullying or intervene myself unless it's something really serious. Everyone has to deal with that stuff their entire life, so it's better for them to develop some skill in dealing with it themselves.

Yeah, I don't want to go under 99%, but then a shiny new survey caught my eye and I haven't made it back to them yet.

School might not see it that way though. In a lot of schools, if any kind of fight happens both kids get punished as if they were the one who started it.

She's actually been dealing with it pretty well on her own until this, she's the one that asked for her schedule changed. (Because she knew they were disrupting class, and that she wasn't able to fix it.) I really want her to be able to de-escalate things without resorting to yelling about them being a bitch, or punching them. I think we'd probably have left it alone if not for the following her home, that was our line.

I did go back and tell her that beating people up is never the actual answer, that I was just being funny.

The one and only time I ever got into trouble in my school life was because my best friend turned round and punched me on the nose totally out of the blue and I'd no idea why. But I reacted with the one piece of fighting advice my dad had taught me and knocked her down, onto something really hard and she chipped a bone in her jaw. She's still my best friend. I still have no idea why she punched me, I don't think she knew.
