I would look up an oatmeal raisin cookie recipe and replace the raisins. Or, you could replace a portion(maybe a third) of the flour for oats. You'll still get that oat flavour but, the safety of your standard choc chip cookie recipe.

Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of switching out raisins for the chips. I think I've trained myself to avoid Oatmeal raisin and even the recipes maybe.

It's true. One of the most common questions I hear when teaching someone younger to cook is, "Can you do that?" Like, can you just crumble up leftover hamburgers for chili, or can you use farfalle instead of penne, can I cook cubed bread instead of buying croutons, etc. They don't think about ingredients as their own thing that can be used for all kinds of purposes. Rather, they see ingredients as just that, part of a whole. It's mostly due to "convenience" packaging and pre-made this or that, I think.
Ikr? I have to go cook now (and have no idea what we're eating for dinner yet tbh) but if you've never had permission to cook freely, or had someone show you how to do that, it's easy to see cooking as regimented and strict. And no, that's not cooking.

That's baking.

I think it's also because they are so impressed with the finished dish, they assume there must be only one way to achieve that outcome. But, you're totally right, that's baking. And some people really flourish in that area but, that's cause they're really good at following instructions.:)

How many concussions constitutes a history? Not for you specifically but in general.
One is a history. There can also be other force to the head that is subconcussive, that is it does not cause a concussion. But an accumulation of subconcussive force to the head can cause serious damage.

Once you have a couple of standard cookie dough recipes(maybe 1 for oats and one for standard chocolate chip cookies) you can consider the raisins, chips, nuts, dried fruit, cut up candy bars, anything, as "add-ins". As long as none of them are super wet(moisture-wise) they are pretty much interchangeable with the seasons. So, if you know how to make 2 types of cookie, you can really make 100 types.:)

And then I eat them all
