So...did Prolific just terminate facebook linked accounts without saying anything?

steve perry was journey

the new singer sounds pretty good, but if i'm seeing a band who has a newer singer...
it just doesn't feel the same to me.

replace the guitarist, bassist or drummer..... fine
but the singer is a spot that makes or breaks things imo

but but but...Steve Perry wasn't an original member. The original singer was Greg Rolle. (You can hear them both sing on the Infinity and Evolution albums, and the song "Just the Same Way" is an awesome example of how well their completely different voices meshed). Replacing the original guitarist, Neil Schon, would be a HUGE change for this band as Mr. Schon is one of the best guitarists, ever. I believe he is the last founding member of the band. Steve Smith (drummer) and Jonathon Cain (keyboards) who were in Journey during the heyday 80s years are both gone. Rolle left a while before Escape.

Sorry to be pedantic, lol!. I was one of the worlds biggest Journey fans in my youth. The amount I know about Rolle, Perry, Cain, Schon and Smith is reflective of my massive tween/teen fan girl obsession with them. I actually won an 8th grade talent show with a few other friends because we did a pantomime to Anyway You Want It. I was the drummer. I can still do every drumming move to that song (one of our school's drummers sat me down and taught me the moves so I looked legit).

Rose CMU emailed me this morning. She asked if I wanted to make corrections on my 19 rejections. So far she has sent me 2. I also noticed there is now 'Feedback' on her rejections on the dashboard.

Yeah...Journey makes me want to vomit, but it's incredibly ignorant to say that replacing a musician wouldn't change the band as much as changing a singer. Plus i heard that the new guy does a really good job at imitating the man he's replacing.

Well, not sure about ignorant. Sometimes replacing a musician doesn't make much difference...but I had to come out in defense of my man, Neil.

I'm not a huge Steve Perry fan, as much as I loved the band. I preferred Rolie, but ....Perry did pretty well on Escape.

Don't forget that Journey had a couple of radio hits after Perry left. 'Remember Me' from the Armageddon soundtrack in '98 and 'Higher Place' in 2001. That was with Steve Augeri on vocals who was fired in 2005.

I don't know about the accounts but the site is wonky for me this morning. I had three studies showing but it said I was ineligible for 2 of them. The log-on process was wonky as well.
