yea, I leave the house at 8am and come back about 8-8:30pm on weekdays.
I have my kid on weekends, usually, so I limit my time there as well.
for me, mturk has been a useful additional source of money, even though I get about 2 hours per day.
even so, I'd rather have a crappy $50 week where I selected only the best, the most delectable, prime hits that I can
instead of 6 hours per day cramping my hands typing out little words and numbers, just to make an extra $30 that week.

plus, grinding out on lower wages will burn you out faster

you run the hitfinder/hitscraper, right?
you use more than one monitor?

People do post their images in the face thread though

Most of the time they post in two hour batches. These are Pacific times, so adjust for your time zone: roughish 6-8 am, 12-2pm, 6-8 pm. I think they post middle of the night, too? I'm not up then.

I can generally catch 75-100 during those times, and that's doing them haphazardly in between cooking breakfasts, lunches and dinners. And with captchas as I don't have Masters, yet.

If you can work during those times, that can help boost numbers and make it so you don't ever have to consider a hit like p9r

Many of us do have pics up in the Faces thread, so we aren't all that incognito, lol. I just don't like staring at myself as I'm old as fuck and about 1/3 as good looking as I used to be so I prefer to pretend in my head that I'm still that hot. Therefore, I use cute cats as my avis, lol, and can pretend I still look 28.

I also cube grind all week long, I can do Z's before work, on lunch (I go home for lunch) and after work. And just to encourage you, with a full time cube job I pulled in over $500 turking in March. A lot thanks to Z's though.

the old ones, I would get so anxious after about half an hour, since I would always feel like I'm not going fast enough
people like @LowCalCalzone would already have maxxed out at 215 when I'm still on number 6..

In the spirit of full disclosure...I have, on more than one occasion, not been able to sleep in past 6:15 because I can FEEL them posting and I KNOW I'm missing out on that sweet, sweet easy money. So I get out of bed and do the damn things (or, if the laptop is already in my bedroom, stay in bed and do the damn things).

That was me, too, due to the dumb throttling they had. Which I think is creeping back in as I'm not able to keep my queue full of these new ones like I was a couple of weeks ago.

I remember people maxing out and I was thrilled if I caught 31 of them.

Yeah, I completely get what you're saying about not doing hits like those, and I've been pretty happy to be making 50-100 weekly so far.

I started using PandaCrazy just to catch hits, then I got MTS but haven't really been able to figure out how to use it very well. Not sure about hitscraper, and for now I'm only working with one monitor, but will be setting up another shortly.

MTS Hitfinder is your best friend. Use the include list. I get alerted to all sorts of hits I would miss without it. Plus, set up pandas in PC for hits that post throughout the day. Hit finder will start showing you which hits these are and you can add them easily using the PC helper script.
