I must have zoned out at some point. Instead of opening a survey to complete a HIT, i copied my mturk ID into the survey completion code and pressed submit. I've just sent a really OTT 'sorry I was such a dillon" message to the requester. Any idea what they'll do? Is there a way for requesters to simply delete a HIT or do they have to reject it?

I think I might need to go off and do something else instead.
I have done that once, but I had the survey link open and instead of putting my turk number in the survey to start I put it in the hit completion code lol, I just finished the hit and wrote them with the code number at the end. Or ask them for the link and you will finish it.

The two times I have done that, the Req never wrote back but they approved the hits anyways.

You get to the point where it'd take like 5000 rejections to put your account in any real jeopardy (outside of possible threats from Amazon) and it doesn't really matter anymore, the only real loss is the money which you wouldn't have gotten if you hadn't gambled anyway
I still wouldn't waste a possible mass reject on pennies.

Could someone give me a link of instructions on the proper way to reverse rejections for requesters on the new site? I need to send it to a requester who's requesting it and I don't want to send wrong or old ones.
Does anyone know if this one is right?: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSMechTurk/latest/RequesterUI/ReversingRejectedAssignment.html

It says last updated January last year so before the new site. Is it still the same on the requesters side though? Requester is willing to overturn these if I tell them how. This is about a LOT of rejections for a sizeable amount of money so it's important I get it right since there's always the chance they won't bother anymore if the first ones I give them don't work.

Most likely screened out of most of it, but they do say they'll pay for the screener, so...I dunno. Maybe they'll reject and then bonus 5 cents for the screening questions :p

The design update on the Worker website didn't change how requesters manage HITs.

Thanks electrolyte. Just a heads up, those last two links on the post you linked me to seem not to work? I mean, I don't see the "ApproveRejectedAssignment" thing on the "API" side anywhere like they took it away or something, or am I just missing it?
Someone with a requester account will have to check on that and see if they changed the URLs. I don't have a requester account so I can't see that.

I said it slightly wrong. Just the middle link. This one: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSMechT...rence_ApproveRejectedAssignmentOperation.html

It just goes to the main page, and under a list of operations that one is not included.

ETA - I'm going to email the requester the manual csv directions you linked which hopefully still work the same but it seems the easier API way to do it has been removed unless I'm missing it.

Apparently took it out. Looking to see if there's something else it's called now.
