Husband invited people over for dinner tomorrow night on the spur of the moment, and it turns out one of them has a dietary restriction that makes my meal planning for the week go out the window, and worse yet, necessitates an extra trip to the grocery store. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I'll cook the dinner all night long, the trip to the store is the thing that makes me want to cry, lol.

The plan was chili tomorrow night, chili dogs friday because we need to use up some hot dogs in the fridge, and then baked potatoes with what was left Saturday.

His coworker's S/O is vegetarian, and I'm very Ron Swanson about my chili. If there isn't meat in it, it's not chili, lol.

I think I'm just going to pivot to a nice pasta with alfredo, and just have a toppings bar with it on the side. Grill some chicken, steam some veggies, etc.

Hahaha yeah chili = meat to me too I would still make your chili tomr though and shift your weekly menu forward a day for everything. Love the pasta alfredo toppings bar idea! Any leftover toppings will work with the baked potatoes later this weekend!
