I didn't think that the forum approved of "cooking" since it is a form of lying to requesters.

Wouldn't better advice be:

If you find that you have completed the survey faster than the requesters time estimation, take a few minutes to reread over each page and ensure you haven't missed anything.

doesn't qualtrics give info on time spent per individual question? but I agree with what you're saying, at least somewhat.

unless you've read TO/TV that explicitly says you need to cook, spending your time and computer resources (if you have a shitty PC) cooking a study in a chrome tab can't be worth the hourly for the 1 requester out of hundreds that's going to hit you with a reject.

Only when the hit is currently up, you can click on the hit title to expand it and click on take qual test or request qual

Sometimes the not qualified message doesn't show up until the hit is available to be grabbed and it tries to grab it and sees it can't.

If you can find a survey that lets you go back a page (there are definitely some out there), sure ... great advice. If not, it's basically a distinction without a difference if you've provided quality work..
