Mturk Worker Userscripts

Workers are reporting a conflict between the Turkopticon Chrome extension and the new worker site, causing a flashing orange circle on the screen between HITs. Video of it happening from @Cara here: http://www.mturkcrowd.com/posts/1067900/

Is F @ffffffeiht managing that extension now?

Question - HIT Database Mk.II and HIT Dashboard do much the same thing, right? In other words, It wouldn't really suit anyone to have both? Just wondering.

EDIT: And perhaps a more relevant question - any updated scripts will have to be redownloaded and installed, right? Like, the Scroll to Workspace seems like a completely new script on Greasyfork (at least it's posted separately).

If so, all it does is execute this code on the page and hasn't been updated since Dec 2014.

No. HIT Database tracks all of the HITs you have done, Dashboard just adds some extra info and a much faster daily projected earnings counter. The daily projected is really the only thing they have in common.

It would be easy, but your worker ID is on every page already, so all you would do is add your transfer balance to every page.

Yes, I think that's the one causing the problem. So for people having that conflict, they should use the script you put above and remove the extension, right? Or use MTurk Suite which includes Turkopticon in it.

yea mturke swuite already does turkopticon so it was just that add on that I forgot I had, and removed.

I don't know, HIT Database isn't migrated over yet.

I made an updated captcha script. It works on both sites. You might have an issue with the pop ups on Worker. If that is the case, you need to allow them for the site. I included a screenshot for Chrome just in case anyone gets confused. Let me know if anyone has any issues. I can't really test Captcha stuff now that I got Masters but I might still be able to resolve some other issues that come up. I shared it with TH, but I didn't want to leave y'all out just in case.

I'm really not understanding what it does.
i see the groupID that is in the code, it's a transcription hit with a lot of current tasks.
but when I push the dash (-) it just opens two windows, one on www.mturk, and one on www.worker.mturk, and then they close

am i missing something?

This is just frustrating. It seems like Mturk Hit Database mk II and Turkmaster are a couple of the major players out there, but no news at all. I wonder why the developers aren't updating, I can only guess they won't be available. There goes my Mturk usage.

HIT Database can't be fully migrated yet because Worker is still incomplete. Turkmaster is being worked on by the original author and will be migrated too.

as of the 15th, there's no way to block requesters from the search screens, right?
currently, I'm using this script - https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/7857-ch-block-using-hit-scraper-s-blocklist

as seen in the address, it uses hitscraper's block list to remove from regular mturk search screens.
but it works both ways (on the www.mturk site) and you can block from within the mturk pages without ever going to hitscraper (though the block will carry over)

there are lots of titles and requesters that I feel will be taking up space in the search results, that I don't need them to be there

@Kadauchi you might want to include that people could either change the group ID of that script bit, or attempt to gain the qual necessary for that groupID (I tried to get the qual, I thought I did great, and I didn't get the qual)

Yes. @Kadauchi is in the process of updating MTS, once that is finished, it will link to worker. Update to MTS will be done before Friday.

This was the preferred way before the force changeover, the links will point in the right direction on the next update.
