Morning all! Looks like no turking for me today - a big storm has knocked out our power/water/internet and who knows when we'll get it back. We went out for food and drinking water and by the time we got back there were trees blocking both ends of our road. So now we're stuck hanging out in our car in a school parking lot for who knows how long. Keep your fingers crossed that I can get home soon - I need a nap!

Really I shouldn't even be thinking about it since I haven't been able to go anywhere for like a year with the baby being small and I wanna get out of here! I want to go to all my husband's conferences and nap all day and not have to find a dog babysitter along with a kids babysitter.

It's definitely time-consuming and sometimes you almost have to plan your life around having a dog. I mean don't get me wrong, I grew up with dogs and they're the best, but it's like having a best friend who will love you unconditionally but also shit inside the house if you wait too long to take them outside. We've all had friends like that I'm sure.

It's definitely time-consuming and sometimes you almost have to plan your life around having a dog. Did you get the same storms MA did last night? We didn't have any delays but half the town here is without power. We only have a few big tree limbs down, but down the street, there are quite a few large trees down and they took out the power for that area.

yeah it was wicked windy and rainy last night. kid mentioned flash floods, but i bet there are areas without power too.
i has NO ideas it was going to be this bad. i guess that's why the store was mobbed and bread was sold out when i went grocery shopping yesterday!

Sorry, kiddo, We're getting pounded today, huh?! About 40 feet of my tree fell and bounced off the power lines before landing in my road. My nice neighbours put it back on my lawn for me. I hope you get home soon and safe.
