Off Topic.... How much at a normal job would you need to make to quit turking? No matter how much I make I always end up turking in my free time. Would you turk if you made 15, 20, 25 or more per hour?
By the end of the year I done turking I be doing poker and amazon FBA full time but it gonna take a lot of turking and other work to get there but well worth it, nothing worth it is easy and nothing easy is worth it.

thats no fun
Ha, not really, but it's cheap as hell. I like to pretend that once I own my own place someday, all the years I spent paying $500 a month for rent-plus-utilities in a trashy building will have been worth it. The other day I'm pretty sure there was a thread with people comparing their rent prices in big cities and it was terrifying.

I like to think that $15 an hour would make me stop turking, but it probably wouldn't. $20 an hour is my pay goal if I ever manage to graduate, so that might be enough to get me to knock it off. Impossible to know for sure though. I might be rich someday and still lurking around here harassing you people. :blep:

:spaz: This is exactly what I was talking about. I don't know how you (or anyone else) manage to live somewhere that expensive. It might sound weird, but where I come from anything over $700 a month seems like big money. That would be enough to rent one of the "fancy" apartments that include a washer/dryer and let you have a dog and everything.

Damn, that sucks. :smow: I can't even imagine what it must be like to go from something like that to typical mturk wages.

The absolute middle of nowhere. I'm in the UP of Michigan. Drive 5 minutes in one direction and I'm in Canada, drive 5 minutes in the opposite direction and I might get murdered by a moose or a bear or something. At least we have nice camping/hiking spots.

edit: I forgot the third direction where you drown in the middle of lake Superior

I lived in Michigan for 14 years. At least you don't live in the SE part of the state. Everyone is broke but the cost of living is crazy. I actually was offered a job in Grand Marais a few weeks ago but the pay was not enough.
