I like to pretend that once I own my own place someday, all the years I spent paying $500 a month for rent-plus-utilities in a trashy building will have been worth it. I like to think that $15 an hour would make me stop turking, but it probably wouldn't. $20 an hour is my pay goal if I ever manage to graduate, so that might be enough to get me to knock it off. It might sound weird, but where I come from anything over $700 a month seems like big money.
