Hello smart people.

I have a question for you all.

What debate fallacy tactic is this?

"You can't comment because you aren't ____ or don't have ____."

I'm pretty positive that's a logical fallacy trap, but I can not think of the term or name. Someone help me out.

BECAUSE KNOWLEDGE.

Would be funny if they do your taxes and pay them for you...but they actually claim you had 20 children this year and take the refund.
Happens all the time.

Just going to put this out there and I don't want to derail the thread so feel free to message me if you have questions.

File your taxes ASAP! I already have 442 cases of fraud and filing season just opened. So if you are getting a refund you need to get on it.
My appointment with my accountant isn't even until Feb 25th! I won't be filing anytime soon as there is no way I can do my own taxes...thanks to the incomprehensible tax code which I think his stupid.

I was worried about that, but then I learned that because I got married and had a child, whatever I get back should cover whatever I owe for MTurk.

(I know close to nothing about taxes and how they work. :( )

Like "Your opinion on this subject does not matter, because you are a man" or "You don't get a say because you don't have kids"?

I think that would be a variation on Genetic Fallacy.
